We woke up at 07.30 and we where so tired that we could sleep 3 hours longer. Then we ate breakfast and saw the Spanish and said goodbye to them. They where going home. Then they asked us for our E-mails. After that we took the tube to Oxford Circus. The boys went with Christian and the girls went with Lil- Mari. The boys went to a toy store and the girls went to the shoe store. The boys bought toys and the girls bought shoes and a jacket. The girls used over 30 min to buy shoes. And then we took train to Gatwick Airport. When we came to the Airport we bought something to our family. We went to Gate 20 and we took Jet2 instead of Norwegian. The trip went very well and our family had to wait a long time because the flight was too late (1 hour too late). Then we met each other and we were so tired. It was a really really cool week and we had done very much. We hope the pupils that are going to Spain get a cool week too.
Best wishes from Rasmus, Marthe og Priya.
Greetings from Palafrugell!
We are just writing in order to say we have come back safe and sound and that we were actually quite exhausted on the Sunday (but in a good way!).
We had a great week in London and it was lovely meeting all the students and staff from Ferrylane and Aarvol.
We also enjoyed the warm weather, something we weren´t expecting =). We look forward to the next visit to Carrilet!!
A warm hug from Pol, Paula T, Paula F, Clara, Carla, Yassin, Iris and Benet, Aura and Sara.

Helloooo!!!
In the morning at breakfast time we met the colleagues from Oslo. We went together to Ferry Lane School and we met the colleagues from London. We visited the school. We saw how they work. We went to the playground to play with them. Later we went to the ICT room and we watched the blog. Later we had lunch. After lunch we got to a double Decker bus to see Big Ben, the parliament, the London Eye and the river Thames… We came back to Trafalgar Square and we realized that the Olympic Games begin in 128 days so the number we gave you yesterday was for the Paralympics games.
Finally we visited Buckingham Palace and we liked to see the Royal Guards.
At night we went to a Mexican restaurant to have dinner.
Kisses!!!

Yesterday we explained you that everything went very well.. As we got to the hostel very late we didn’t give you many details. Now that we are at the school we can tell you barely what we did.
Yesterday was a very long and intense day. In the morning (after waiting for 4 tubes because they were very full!) we got to the school and did our presentations and other activities.
After having lunch, we went all together to visit the Science Museum where we experienced at the Launch Pad. Later, with Pelagia we visited the Natural History Museum, where we almost get eaten by the dinosaurs!
Getting used to the new eating timetable we had lunch with the partners from Oslo, Pelagia and Ms. Pattinson and we made our way to the Lion King show. Wow it was amazing!!!
We got to the hostel very late but we even had time to write our diaries, have showers and straight to bed!
We will write to you tonight again!

Årvoll visit to London; Day 4

Today was the last whole day in London. We woke up at 7 o’clock and we were very tired, because we went to bed so late last night. After the breakfast, we took the underground to Ferry Lane school for the last time on this trip. It’s a little bit sad to think about it. Today we did many different things in Ferry Lane. We had started with maths, and we were outside and drawing the playground from a bird’s perspective. After that we talked about what we had been drawing. We also sang Olympic songs together with the whole school, there was a lady who sang together with us. She was a very good singer. We were also with all the kids at school and playing outside in the school yard.
Today we got noodles and pasta and meatballs for lunch. It tasted very good, but the dessert was different than we thought. It was some kind of vanillasauce, but it was warm. After the lunch we played in playground before we went to the city. Today ten new pupils from Ferry Lane went with us to the British museum.
When we came to the British museum, I just thought “WOW” because it was so big. We didn’t have enough time to see the whole museum. But we saw a lot of amazing things. The first we saw when we came in was the Rosetta Stone, that you can see at the picture. This stone helped the scientists to translate the Egyptian hieroglyphs, because it has writing in several languages. We saw also many statues from the Roman empire, and they were naked. We saw the goddess Aphrodite, but we could not find her amulet. But then, Petter said that he thought he had found it on the head of another statue, but we thought it looked more like an omelette. (However, this is just a joke). The last thing we looked at, was the pictures from the Panthenon. The British had actually stolen these from the Greeks. They won’t even give it back today.
After the visit at the museum, we ate ice cream and played “sisten” outside. That was very fun. Cornelia, I (Izabela), have finally fed some pigeons for you.
Before dinner, we were supposed to play bowling, but we didn’t get to, because the first place was closed down, and the second place did not have any available courts for us. But we ate pommes frites at the bowling while we waited for time to go. And we found out a funny thing; when you cross the street when there is a green man, you have 13 seconds to cross, before it turns red again.
Today we ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant in China Town. China Town is a very special place in London, because there are only three China Towns in the world, if you don’t count China. In the restaurant, we ate a very special meal. There were several courses. The first course was seaweed, chicken, spareribs and pasta with chicken inside and sweet and sour chili sauce on the side. The second course you can see at the picture. It was a sort of pancake with plum sauce, duck, cucumber and spring onion. It was very good! The third course included beef in ginger sauce, chicken in chili sauce, vegetables, scampi and fried rice with duck and mushrooms. It was a very good meal. Last, but not least, we got a “Chupa chups”.
After a long day, we finally went back to the hostel again. We had to take the underground again. We are going to be champions at that now. You can see a picture of us at the tube in this blog post.
Now we have to go to bed before we fall asleep on the table.

Årvoll visit London; Day 3
7:00Am (English time) did we wake up today Thursday! We could not write yesterday because we got home too late from the Lion King.
This is what we did yesterday: after breakfast we took the tube to Ferry Lane in Tottenham again. We and the Spanish presented ourselves and we had a powerpoint about Årvoll, Oslo and Norway. It went very well :-)
Then we learned about traffic in London and going safe to school. It was a play based on a true story and a boy died. We had to act and discuss the whole time- see the first picture below. It took a very long time – 1.5 hours.
Then there was football at their outside pitch, and that was nice; it would have been nice to try cricket and rugby as well, but we didn’t do that.
For lunch it was Fish and Chips, and then we left for the Science museum.
The museum was very nice and huge and we got a guide to the Launchpad, which is a bit like Teknoteket at Teknisk museum in Oslo. It was very funny and we learned a lot. One place you could bite a straw and by that hear music!
Then we had to rush back to the hostel to change clothes and meet the Spanish and Maxine and Pelagia from Ferry Lane to eat at an Italian restaurant. The food was really good. Again we got a place for 21 people :-O
Finally it was time for the Lion King!! We got seats on the top, a bit far away, but Rasmus and Simen got binoculars so they could see better..the show was really really phantastic! Very good costumes, real animal movements, very good scene and singing and acting. It was great!
Then we went back LATE and went straight to bed;)

Pictures from the great Day 3 :-) report tomorrow, it is too late now!!
Norwegian boys and girls at the Mexican restaurant Lupita
Årvoll visit to London; Day 2
Today we were going to eat breakfast at 07:30 so the girls woke up first. We ate breakfast at the “Hostel”. It was good food there.
After that we were going to Ferrylane school with the Spanish pupils. In one of the pictures you can see all of us outside of Ferry Lane school. We met some of the pupils from the school. Some of the pupils showed us around the school and their class rooms. The pupils use school uniforms and they wear blue sweaters and grey pants and skirts. The classrooms were filled with posters and decarations. We played with the pupils from the school during the play time. The boys played a lot of football and they found many good friends. The girls were little bit more shy. Marthe, Priya and Rasmus met their pen pals. That was really nice.
After the play time some of us joined the 6th grade in some of the lessons. We had drama, and in mathematics they used different techniques than we do. That was a bit difficult.
Later on we had lunch at the school. It was pasta, rice, lamb, vegetables, bread and biscuits. The pupils were nice to us, and 10 of them came with us to go sightseeing in London city. We took a double decker bus around the city. When we were in the city we saw London eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and many other places. You can see a picture of us in front of Big Ben. We walked along the Thames river and we saw people dressed up as statues. Some of them scared us!!! But it was a bit fun. After we walked around the city and took the underground we were tired and hungry. So then we had to find a place to eat. The restaurant was Mexican and the name of it is Lupita. It was a nice rastaurant. The food was genuin Mexican food. In the picture you can see us at the restaurant. A funny thing is that there was both soap and hand lotion at the toilet.
We are so tired now so we have to go to sleep. We have to be ready for a new day.
SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR!!!
